Description
ZAMZAR is a selective, systemic, foliar-applied herbicide. It is designed to control annual and perennial grass weeds—including rhizomatous Johnsongrass—in broad-leaved crops during the growing season.
Advantages
- Systemic action via inhibition of the ACC enzyme;
- Control of annual and perennial grass weeds;
- Suitable for oilseed rape and sunflower;
- Flexible dosage: 120–300 ml/da depending on weed infestation;
- Single application during the growing season;
- The product is not phytotoxic to crops when used according to recommendations.
Mechanism of action
Zamzar is absorbed by the leaves of grassy weeds and translocates throughout the entire plant. The first visible signs of treatment are wilting, chlorosis, and anthocyanin discoloration. These appear after 5–10 days, while complete plant death occurs between the 14th and 21st day.
