Description
MECHANISM OF ACTION
KORELO DUO 85 WG is a selective systemic herbicide containing two active substances, pyroxsulam and florasulam, which inhibit acetolactate synthase (ALS). KORELO DUO is absorbed mainly through the leaves and partially through the roots of weeds, and is translocated via phloem and xylem to plant meristematic tissues. KORELO DUO blocks vital enzymes in weed metabolism, resulting in cessation of their growth within a few hours after application. After several days, the first visual signs of efficacy appear - chlorosis and necrosis in all growth points. Complete weed death occurs within several weeks after treatment under normal conditions and up to 6-8 weeks under prolonged unfavorable growing conditions (cold, dry, etc.).
ACTIVE SUBSTANCES
- Cloquintocet-mexyl - 70.8 g/kg
- Pyroxsulam - 70.8 g/kg
- Florasulam - 14.2 g/kg
REGISTERED APPLICATIONS
| Crop | Controlled Weeds | Dose | Application Timing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wheat | Annual cereal weeds, including wild oat and ryegrass species; Annual broadleaf weeds and Canada thistle | 26.5 g/ha + 50 mL/ha adjuvant | Post-emergence from 3rd leaf stage to 3rd node stage (BBCH 13-33) |
Working solution:
- Autumn application: 15 L/dka
- Spring application: 15-20 L/dka
Advantages
- Safe for the crop thanks to safener technology that prevents stress and accelerates crop metabolism
- Stops growth of cereal and broadleaf weeds within 24 hours after treatment
- Additional soil action controlling later-emerging weeds after treatment
- Can be applied in autumn if weeds have emerged
- Effective against all broadleaf weeds, including Canada thistle, cleavers, wild poppy, ephemeral species, volunteer sunflower
- Possibility of application at temperatures above +5°C
- Temperature fluctuations do not affect its action
