Description
TERRIA trailed machines cover a wide range of applications in soil cultivation. You have the choice - from shallow stubble cultivation to deeper loosening work. Fully versatile to meet the highest expectations.
Advantages
-
Wide range of applications – from shallow stubble cultivation to deep seedbed preparation (from 5 to 35 cm);
-
Hydraulic working depth adjustment for quick and precise adaptation to all soil conditions;
-
Chassis integrated into the working section for a minimal turning radius and soil protection;
-
Choice of proven high-quality working tools for intensive mixing or shallow cutting;
-
NON-STOP stone protection;
-
Multiple drawbar positions for flexible adaptation to different conditions;
-
No lateral offset during operation, utilizing the full working width of the machine;
-
Fuel savings due to lower power requirements for achieving perfect soil mixing.
-
TERRIA stands out with uniform soil cultivation, a compact design, and optimal contour following on hilly terrain. All of this is achieved with a high level of operator comfort. Machine settings can be adjusted during operation, with full control ensured via the pressure gauge and working depth scale.
Compact design
-
Thanks to its compact frame design, Terria ensures intensive mixing of soil and organic matter – even at low speeds and with low tractor power requirements. Additionally, deeper operation allows for homogeneous mixing and reliable straw decomposition.
-
With its short overall length, the machine perfectly adapts to uneven terrain, making it ideal for hilly conditions.
Symmetrical arrangement of the working tools
The working tools are symmetrically arranged on both folding sections. This ensures:
- Reliable soil penetration under all conditions – even in hard and dry soils;
- Even power distribution;
- Uniform wear.
High clearance and wide spacing between working elements
To ensure a stable and consistent soil flow and uninterrupted operation, even with large amounts of straw and crop residues, TERRIA features a generous frame clearance of 820 mm and a row spacing of 800 mm.
The working tools are curved in shape, and their position can be adjusted via a hole pattern system. This allows the aggressiveness of operation to be adapted as needed. PÖTTINGER guarantees optimal working results thanks to intensive mixing, supported by a spacing between the tools of 290 to 310 mm.
Perfect working tools for all soil types
Proven-quality tines and sweep shares – CLASSIC, DURASTAR, and DURASTAR PLUS. You can choose the most suitable option depending on whether you aim for intensive mixing or shallow cutting.
The sweep shares can be adjusted via a hole pattern system – only the position of a single bolt needs to be changed. The intensity of cultivation varies depending on the selected position: the lower position is for shallow work, while the upper position is for intensive mixing.
The aggressiveness of operation can also be adjusted by changing the tine angle – shallow or deep. The mounting bolt also functions as a shear bolt for protection.
Non-stop stone protection
Pöttinger has further improved the proven NOVA NON-STOP stone protection system. This is essential for ensuring uninterrupted operation. TERRIA is equipped as standard with mechanical stone protection, featuring a release force of over 600 kg and a maximum lifting height of 35 cm. The range also includes an adjustable hydraulic version with a release force of 650 kg.
