Pasifika Expert
A selective vegetative herbicide from the sulfonylurea group with full systemic action.
Description
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
A selective vegetative herbicide from the sulfonylurea group with full systemic action;
Once applied to weeds, the product is rapidly absorbed by the leaves and stops their growth and development immediately. From 4 to 6 weeks after treatment, the weeds are completely destroyed;
The visual signs of the herbicidal action are yellowing of the weeds, chlorotic spots, followed by necrosis and complete death of the treated plants.
In less sensitive weed species, their development is inhibited.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
- 30 g/kg mesosulfuron-methyl;
- 10 g/kg iodosulfuron-methyl sodium salt
- 90 g/kg antidote (mefenpyr-diethyl)
Avoid contact of the product with neighboring crops. A minimal amount of Pacifica® VG can cause damage if it gets on sensitive crops, such as rapeseed, sunflower, vegetables and fruit trees.
MIXABILITY
Pacifica Expert is miscible with fungicides used in practice (but not with fungicides containing carbendazim and mineral oils) and insecticides. Before mixing it with another product, a test should be carried out in advance for their compatibility in a separate container and for the manifestation of phytotoxicity on wheat.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
For basic weeding with wild oats and ryegrass, Pacifica® VG is applied alone with Biopower.
For heavy weeding with sedge and palamida, it is recommended to mix with half a dose of Secator® OD, i.e. Pacifica® VG 35 g + Secator® OD 5 ml/ha + Biopower 70 ml/ha.
Do not apply Pacifica® to oats and barley!!!
The optimal application period is in the spring after winter dormancy until the end of the crop tillering. If the autumn is warm and long and the wheat weeds are in high density, treatment may be necessary even then. Pacifica® is safe for the crop even when used twice in autumn and spring.
Weeds are best controlled when they are between the 2nd and 6th leaf.
Especially against the palamida, apply when it is 10-15 cm high;
Low temperatures before or after application do not reduce the effect of the product, but delay the initial effect.
Do not treat crops if they are under the influence of any stress factor, such as frost, heat, attack by diseases and enemies, lodging, induced.
SPECTRUM OF ACTION:
- CEREAL WEEDS: annual wheatgrass, knapweed, wild oats, common oats, field foxtail, ryegrass, common wheatgrass.
- BROADLEAF WEEDS: shepherd's purse, common ragwort, coriander, common sedge, common fireweed, wild poppy, sparrow star, Persian Easter lily, field pansy, field primrose, black mustard, white dog's-tail, spotted sedge, stem-covering dead nettle, red dead nettle, true chamomile, cowslip, peach-leaved poplar, field buttercup, wild turnip, annual turnip, Venus' comb, bird's wasteland, spring vetch and bonito.
Effect of the product on subsequent crops in the crop rotation/Crop rotation
After application of Pacifica® VG and after harvesting the wheat, it is possible to sow any autumn and spring crops. If the wheat has been treated with Pacifica® VG and is accidentally destroyed (due to storm, frost, flood, etc.), it is possible to sow durum or soft wheat after plowing to a depth of 25 cm and 15 days after treatment.
