Description
-
MODE OF ACTION:
-
Gardo Sun is a complex systemic herbicide based on aclonifen and diflufenican, used to control annual grass and broadleaf weeds in potatoes and sunflower.
-
Aclonifen belongs to the diphenylether family and acts by inhibiting carotenoid biosynthesis, causing leaf bleaching followed by necrosis.
-
Diflufenican belongs to the pyridine-carboxamide family and is a soil and foliar herbicide. It is mainly absorbed by the coleoptile during germination, with limited translocation, also blocking carotenoid biosynthesis.
-
Possible to mix with glyphosate depending on the emerged weeds and growth stages.
