Description
Thanks to its percentage of Zinc (Zn) water soluble and its solubility Valagro EDTA Zn is ideal for the formulation of fertilizers rich in Zinc (Zn), essential component of several enzymes related to energy production, proteins’ synthesis and growth’s regulation.

Features of zinc deficiency
- Zinc is directly or indirectly involved in photosynthesis, respiration, chlorophyll and protein synthesis, nitrogen, phosphorus and carbohydrate metabolism. It is necessary for the ripening and formation of seeds.
- Zinc deficiency most often occurs when soil reserves are depleted during intensive harvesting, when growing on sandy, carbonate or over-digested acidic soils, on soils rich in slowly decomposing organic matter, in poor soil structure, etc.
- In case of deficiency, plants have slow growth, weak tillering, small leaves, pale and yellowish spots appear, chlorosis, brown spots on the leaves, etc.
- The deficiency manifests itself by reducing the internodal distance of the shoots and the size of the leaves. The edges of the leaves are deformed and sometimes chlorosis appears between the veins. In fruit trees, entire branches and even trees dry out.
