On December 18, at our headquarters in Stara Zagora we organised together with our partners from Caussade Semences a specialized seminar for stock breeders from Southern Bulgaria.

The main topic of the meeting was the introduction of a true innovation in silage corn - the unique DUO CS system of Caussade Semences, designed specifically for dairy cows. It is a combination of two hybrids with the same time of maturation and specific starch content to produce quality silage, well received and utilized by animals. The two hybrids from the DUO CS system are specially selected for their agronomic qualities - very good vegetation development, resistance to lodging, high yields, and the results reported by farmers are remarkable - increase of the amount of milk and its fat and protein content, as well as higher content of starch.

In order to achieve these good results, however, it is necessary to follow the proper technology of growing and processing of corn silage. Farmers had the opportunity to enrich their knowledge and get valuable advice from our special guest lecturer - Assoc. Kutsarov.

The second part of the meeting was dedicated to the specialized production line for breeders offered by Bulagro Machines, including mowers, tedders, rakers and silage loader wagons from POETTINGER, round balers and bale wrappers from MASCAR, mixer wagons from SGARIBOLDI, trailers for liquid manure from HERMANOS GARCIA, trailers for dry manure from METALFACH, drum irrigation systems from BEINLICH, telescopic loaders from SCHAEFFER LADER and row-crop planters MASCAR.

In the next year more regional seminars for breeders will be held at the rest of the BULAGRO centers in northern Bulgaria.
