REGIONAL SEMINAR ON FRUIT FARMING IN SILISTRA

On the first day of March BULAGRO organized another regional technical meeting with fruit farmers from north Bulgaria in Silistra. It was attended by more than thirty clients, growing apricots, apples, cherries and plums.
The meeting began with a presentation of the company Bulagro AD from the sales director Mrs. Maria Slavova. A special guest of the seminar was Mr. Sava Tabakov from the department of Arboriculture at the Agricultural University in Plovdiv. He presented to the audience the main topics concerning the growing of the following fruit: apricots, apples, plums, cherries:
- Pads - suitable sorts and the varieties in Bulgaria;
- Pruning of fruit trees;
- Fertilization - basic and foliar, essential mineral nutrients;
- Diseases and pests in fruit trees - development and distribution.
The wide interest from the audience provoked more questions on the growing of other plants in Bulgaria, such as walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds. The meeting continued with a presentation of the portfolio of fruit pesticides, offered from BULAGRO - products of Bayer, BASF and others. Very informing and interesting was the presentation of innovative fertilizers and growth regulators of the Italian company VALAGRO, which we offer exclusively on the Bulgarian market: Micro Ca, Boroplus, Megafol, Breksil Fe, Valagro Zn, Master and Kodafol - series of fertilizers.
To execute successful plant protection in horticulture, in addition to high-quality products, it is essential to use high-quality spraying equipment. The proposal of BULAGRO for fruit farmers in the region is HARDI - the Danish leader in spraying technology. We also presented the specialized Italian tractors for orchards and vineyards GOLDONI, which we offer in a variety of series and modifications.
The meeting ended with many questions to all speakers and special thanks to BULAGRO for organizing such an event with a focus on fruit farmers. We received an invitation from our clients to hold the next meeting in an orchard where we will demonstrate the relationship between lectures, the current situation and the work in the gardens.
