CUBA - ANOTHER EXCITING DESTINATION OF "BULAGRO AND PARTNERS" PROGRAM
In December 2015, in the midst of winter, the "Bulagro and partners" program took three groups of tourists to one of world’s most exotic destinations – Cuba. Not surprisingly, Columbus called Cuba "the most beautiful land ever seen by human’s eye". It inspired Hemingway for one of his greatest masterpieces, "The Old Man and the Sea". Cuba is much more than beautiful beaches and sun; it is an exciting story about music, dance and people’s love for life.
First stop of Bulagro’s Cuban journey was Varadero - a remarkable city, located 150 km from the capital Havana. Situated on Ikakos peninsula, Varadero is famous tourist destination proponing a combination of great beaches and preserved virgin forests.
After the beauty of Varadero, the group headed to Havana. As opposed to many other world metropolises, Havana is devoid of ornaments and decorations; it has rather retained its old school character and wide variety of cultural and historical monuments, museums and galleries. Most of Cuba’s sights are just there – we visited The National Capitol Building, The Great Theatre of Havana, "El Prado" Avenue, the former Presidential Palace, The Central Park and many others. Unforgettable part of our journey was the tour in old city of Havana - the only one who is under the protection of UNESCO.
We thank all our partners who shared the journey to Cuba with Bulagro - a voyage through time, in the atmosphere of the 60s, colorful and brightly colored, slightly peeling buildings, the taste of Cuban rum and flavor of Havana cigars. We wish you a successful 2016!
