Bulagro Machines at BATA AGRO 2025 – Modern solutions and innovations for sustainable farming

The 15th edition of BATA AGRO, the largest agricultural exhibition in Bulgaria, took place in Stara Zagora from May 12 to 16, 2025. This year’s edition was one of the biggest yet, featuring over 200 exhibitors from across the country and abroad.
Bulagro Machines showcased its latest technology and innovations on an impressive stand of over 1,300 m², located in the central part of the exhibition. Visitors had the opportunity to explore more than 30 advanced machines for soil cultivation, seeding, spraying, fertilizing, precision farming, and grassland maintenance from globally renowned brands such as Pöttinger, Einböck, Hardi, Horizon Agriculture, Bogballe, Badalini, ABZ Innovation, and others.
Two major highlights of our stand were the No-till and Strip-till machinery from the brand Horizon Agriculture, created by British innovator George Sly, one of the pioneers in the no-till technology. The machines attracted great interest, and Mateusz Graschuk, Horizon's Regional Manager for Central and Eastern Europe, was on-site to explain their key advantages:
“Our Horizon DSX no-till seeder is sold all over the world – in Kenya, New Zealand, the USA, throughout Europe and the UK. It is currently the best no-till seeder on the market. It has unique features that no other manufacturer offers. The biggest advantage farmers love is that the machine can grow with their farm – it can be expanded up to 7.5 meters without the need to purchase a new unit.”
Another centerpiece of our presentation were the agricultural spraying drones from the European manufacturer ABZ Innovation, with 10- and 30-liter tank capacity. These drones are equipped with CDA precision spraying technology, providing exceptional efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. The 30-liter drone achieves a maximum flow rate of 16 l/min, and the latest innovation this year is an obstacle avoidance system based on LiDAR technology, which creates a real-time 3D field map. By integrating ABZ drones into their operations, farmers can reduce water usage by up to 95% and plant protection product use by up to 60%. Visitors had the opportunity to see the drones in action on a demo field behind our stand and witnessed their benefits firsthand.
The Hardi Alpha self-propelled sprayer with its TITANIUM LINE facelift also generated strong interest among attendees, reaffirming its place as a trusted solution for large-scale spraying.
Our Austrian partners surprised visitors with several new product launches, including the Pöttinger Terrasem V6000DZ autumn seeder with fertilizing system and a brand-new IDS distributor head, the Einböck Rotarystar 600 rotary hoe with P-BOX STI seeding unit, and the premium tined weeder Einböck Aerostar Fusion.
At the Mascar area, the spotlight was on the Maxi disc seeder, featuring the innovative Smart Drive system with electrically driven sowing units. This Italian pneumatic seeder ensures high seeding precision even in soils with minimal pre-treatment.
In the field of precision farming, we introduced the innovative Farmnavigator G12 Panorama – the first 12-inch panoramic agricultural navigation system, usable in both horizontal and vertical modes. It allows the screen to be split into two views, enabling users to monitor two operations simultaneously – for example, a live implement camera and a terrain map.
As always, we are sincerely grateful to all visitors, customers, partners, and friends who stopped by our stand. Thank you for taking the time to connect, exchange ideas, and explore the future of agriculture with us.
We hope to see you again soon!
