Mechanism of Action
Coragen 20 SC is an insecticide with a fundamentally new mode of action from the anthranilamide group. It primarily acts as a stomach poison but also has contact action, showing a pronounced ovicidal and larvicidal effect, and for some species, it also affects adults.
After treatment with Coragen 20 SC, larvae stop feeding almost immediately but die within 24-60 hours. They may regurgitate some of the ingested food and remain stuck to the leaves without causing any further damage.
Coragen 20 SC moves translaminarly within the plant and has an extended residual effect, maintaining its high activity for 14-21 days after treatment.
