VINES

Vine (Vitis) is a flowering plant in the family Grapevine (Vitaceae). It includes about 60 species distributed mainly in the Northern Hemisphere. Some of them, mostly European wine grape (Vitis vinifera), are of great economic importance. It is used for the production of grapes, eaten fresh or made into wine.
