General spring fertilization of autumn crops
Due to climatic anomalies in late autumn and early winter—prolonged autumn drought, delayed sowing, inability to fertilize before sowing, temperature ranges from -12°C to +20°C in early winter—autumn crops entered winter dormancy in different phenological phases. Late-sown November wheat failed to reach the tillering phase. In the case of rapeseed, only some of the crops formed a rosette during their autumn vegetation, a phase in which the plants successfully overwinter.
Many farmers did not apply the necessary fertilizers in the fall, mainly due to the drought, and the results of this are already visible in the fields. High temperatures in January, accompanied by heavy rainfall, increased soil moisture reserves and stimulated plant growth, but the lack of nutrients affected the crops, especially in warmer areas.
In February, minimum temperatures of minus 12°C to minus 15°C in conditions without snow cover and prolonged retention, will pose a threat to late-sown winter cereals, which have ceased vegetation in the 2-3 leaf stage, and to rapeseed crops that failed to form a rosette during their autumn vegetation.
Overall, the condition of autumn crops throughout the country is relatively good, but for the reasons listed above, yellowing of crops is observed in many places, caused by insufficient supply of nutrients.
WHAT AGRONOMISTS FROM BULAGRO RECOMMEND
We present a combination of VALAGRO products for foliar application that will compensate to some extent for the lack of pre-sowing fertilization in autumn crops, including rapeseed, and will provide them with the necessary nutrition to resume their vegetation.
MASTER 20.20.20 (250 g/dca) + EDTA MIX (70 g/dca)
The emphasis is on general nutrition with the three macro elements in Master 20.20.20 plus a very high set of chelated microelements in combination with EDTA Mix - copper, manganese, iron, zinc, magnesium, boron, and molybdenum.
In case of specific phosphorus or potassium deficiency, Master 20.20.20 in the combination can be replaced by Master 13.40.13 or 3.11.38, respectively.
What will you notice immediately after using the combination?
Strong, uniform growth of foliage, which is a prerequisite for healthy, strong plants. Budding will be visibly stimulated and the vegetation period of the plants will be extended. The color of the foliage will visibly improve to dark green.
Another suitable alternative is the combined foliar fertilizer and biostimulator CODAFOL MAXIMUS 8.11.3 - a unique product that you can't go wrong with, whenever you choose it.
CODAFOL MAXIMUS 8.11.3 (250 ml/dca)
It contains a complex of macro- and microelements enriched with amino acids and natural stimulants. It is absorbed very quickly and has an invigorating, anti-stress effect, activating the immune system of plants. The product has been on the Bulgarian market for four years now, during which time it has gained the trust of many farmers throughout the country.
Foliar feeding with the combination Master 20.20.20 + EDTA MIX or with the combined fertilizer and biostimulant CODAFOL MAXIMUS 8.11.3 should be done before the main soil feeding with nitrogen fertilizer in fields where the deficiency of nutrients is clearly expressed. In addition to providing the necessary nutrients to the plants, it will promote the absorption of nitrogen from the soil and help the plants overcome the stress caused by highly variable weather conditions - large temperature amplitudes, snowfall, wind, rain.
We, the agronomists at Bulgaro, remind you that a complete and varied diet for plants is essential for achieving high yields with excellent quality indicators.
