Description
Single-disc coulters and DUAL DISC double-disc coulters are available for planting cereals. PCS integrates precision seed drilling technology into a pneumatic seed drill, making you independent from single seed drills. This means greater flexibility and more cost efficient operation.
Advantages
Sowing system
1. The lifting tube with a funnel-shaped outer side transports the seed through the distribution head to the outlet openings.
2. Controlled flaps feed the seed through the patented funnel system into the air flow and back to the lifting tube.
When the tramline is switched on, the seed rate is automatically reduced to save up to 6% seed.
IDS – Intelligent distribution system with distribution head
IDS controls the automatic reduction of the seed quantity in the metering unit when switching to band sowing or half-width sowing. The excess seed is returned via a funnel back into the pressure pipe.
- Continuously constant seed quantity in each row;
- Uniform plant development;
- Up to 6% seed savings.
The IDS distributor head ensures uniform crop growth by maintaining a completely constant number of seeds in all coulter tubes.
Switching to band sowing is done electronically. Easy setting and monitoring functions via the terminal.
Each coulter tube is equipped with a sensor that checks the seed flow. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted to three levels depending on the seed (fine, normal, coarse). The seed flow monitoring is displayed on each terminal, on the POWER CONTROL, EXPERT 75, CCI 1200 and on the tractor's ISOBUS terminal. In the event of a blockage, the driver receives a message about the current status. If a coulter tube becomes blocked, the row number is displayed directly on the terminal.
Additional convenience is provided by the LED lights mounted directly on the sensor of each coulter tube. This allows the driver to immediately detect a blocked seed tube, even when the drill is dusty or at night.
PCS - Precision Combi Seeding
The PCS (Precision Combi Seeding) option integrates precision seeding technology into a rigid pneumatic seed drill, meaning greater flexibility and more cost-effective operation when using your AEROSEM ADD seed drill.
1. AEROSEM A / AEROSEM ADD
Wheat, barley, oats, rye, spelt, sunflower seeds, beans, peas, rapeseed, poppy seeds, phacelia, mustard
2. AEROSEM PCS
Maize, row spacing 75 cm, optional simultaneous fertilisation of 1 or 2 strips or simultaneous application of seeds of a companion crop between the maize
3. AEROSEM DUPLEX SEED
Maize, row spacing 75 cm / 12.5 cm, optional fertilisation with a strip next to each row or simultaneous application of seeds of a companion crop between the maize
4. AEROSEM PC
Maize, row spacing 37.5 cm, optional fertilisation with a strip next to each row
One planter for many tasks:
- Grains
- Maize / maize with fertiliser / maize with companion crop
- Fertiliser applied directly to row of corn
One hopper for all
For single sowing with PCS and simultaneous application of the required fertiliser, the seed hopper is simply separated. The partition walls are secured quickly and without tools with wing nuts. The hopper offers space for 400 litres of seed (2x200 l) and 800 litres of fertiliser. A self-rolling roller cover protects the seed from dust and rain.
FREE CHOICE OF:
- Row spacing;
- Track width for tramline sowing;
- Track width;
- Special switching for tramline sowing;
- Double rail systems;
- Half-width shut-off of the drill on the left and right;
- Section Control function.
Perfect placement for even seed germination
The Dual-disc sowing discs with integrated furrow guide create a precise furrow. The guide roller stops the seeds and presses them into the furrow. The compaction and depth guidance is carried out by a pressure roller. The placement depth can be adjusted centrally.
- No drop height;
- Precise seed placement;
- No rolling of the seeds;
- Optimal soil contact;
- Even seed germination.
